Continental has worked closely with Nautel to modify
the Nautel M50 adaptive precorrection for Continental's 816HD series
transmitters.
What you will see:
1) The first sweeps show an 816HD transmitter with no information in the
precorrection look-up-table (LUT) and only minimal adjustments to IPA/PA
matching and PA tuning and loading.
2) The transmitters is allowed to stabilize at full power for 4-5 seconds
before the LUT is populated and precorrection is applied.
3) The Adaptive Precorrection quickly pulls in the analog and HD modulated
carriers to meet the NRSC mask.
Note:
The Pavg sweep counter begins just after Adaptive Precorrection
is applied. Sweeps are in real time through sweep 11, at which point they
are displayed in a compressed time format to reduce the size of the video
file.
