Dedicated Ownership
In March 2005, Veritas Capital purchased Continental Electronics Corporation back after it was acquired by DRS Technologies as a part of the Integrated Defense Technologies (IDT) / DRS Technologies merger acquisition. Veritas Capital had previously been the largest shareholder of IDT.
Continental believes the digital future of broadcast extends far beyond the ability to transmit high quality audio signals. Our products allow broadcasters to utilize the bandwidth generated by digital technology such as DRM and HD Radio to develop advanced broadcast-based applications. These advancements will enable Continental Electronics Corporation's customers to expand their product offerings into new market segments
Veritas Capital has a keen understanding of Continental's core "radio business". Veritas has a deep faith in CEC's current and future business plans and is very excited and supportive of CEC's current and planned IR&D efforts and business projections for both domestic and international efforts. Under Veritas, CEC will be focusing on growth to develop new products as well as keeping its leadership role in domestic and world markets.
