CEC is currently accepting resumes for a Linux Systems Architect. This position
will lead the Linux software team in the concept, design, build and test of
engineering equipment for a diverse portfolio of projects. The role requires an
extensive knowledge of embedded Linux development including Linux 2.6 kernel,
device driver development, embedded Linux tool chains, communications (e.g. USB,
RS232), packages targeted at embedded development and C development skills. A
qualified candidate will have the ability to read and interpret technical
standards, and have excellent presentation and documentation skills.
Education and/or Experience: BSEE or BS in Computer
Science with at least 5 years of related experience; or 10 years of directly
related experience. Knowledge of Linux 206 development; C, C++, Perl, sh; file
servers. Familiarity with kernal and device driver development; Samba, Java VM,
networking protocols; software design processes.
Continental Electronics Corporation is
currently accepting resumes for a Contracts Manager which will report to the
CFO/VP of Finance. This position directs
and coordinates the contracts activities for the Company, such as contract
administration, contract reviews, contract management, proposal review &
development and customer coordination.
MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Responsible
for the preparation of contractual inputs
to proposal activity.
2. Acts
as initial point of contact for DCMA and DCAA representatives for proposal
audits and/or contract inquiries.
3. Responsible
for the negotiation of contracts, basic ordering agreements and all
overriding agreements.
4. Coordinates
the preparation, submission, and negotiation of all contract disputes and
termination claims.
5. Responsible
for the review of subcontracts to identify and limit exposure, and verify
that all prime contracts flow down provisions to sub tier suppliers are
incorporated (including all services, facilities, consulting arrangements,
and special purchasing agreements.)
6. Serves
as the company's Contracting Officer, administers all contracts and
subcontracts and manages the Contracts Department.
7. Serves
as the Export Officer, ensures that all exports are in accordance with
applicable US Export Laws and Regulations.
8. Writes
and delivers presentations to corporate officers or government officials
regarding contracts.
9. Performs
other related assignments as required.
Education and/or
Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.B.A.) from four-year college or university plus five
to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination
of education and experience.
Qualified
Candidates must have or be able to obtain the appropriate level of the
Department of Defense security clearance.
