Since its founding in 1946, Continental Electronics has served as the world leader in high-power broadcast transmitters. Continental began building a reputation as a specialist in short-wave transmitters when it delivered eight 500,000 Watt short-wave transmitters for use by the Voice of America. The rest is history, but here are some recent projects.

Radio-Television Malaysia Chooses Continental Electronics HF Transmitters

In 2010 Radio-Television Malaysia (RTM) selected the Continental Electronics Model 418G-DRM for its new short-wave transmitters.
The three 100 kilowatt DRM-ready HF transmitters from Continental and other equipment were installed in the RTM Transmitting Station at Kajang, and enable RTM transmissions in digital DRM format as well as conventional analog AM.

Saudi Arabia Ministry of Communications and Information chooses Continental Electronics HF Transmitters

In 2011 The Ministry of Communications and Information of Saudi Arabia chose Continental Electronics to supply four new DRM-ready 300 kilowatt transmitters for its short-wave station in Jeddah.
The state-of-the-art Continental Model 419H-DRM transmitters enable Saudi Arabia to transmit programming in analog AM and digital (DRM) modes from their major broadcast station in Jeddah.

Republic of Korea Chooses Continental Electronics HF Transmitters

In 2011 Republic of Korea chose Continental Electronics to supply two new DRM-ready 100 kilowatt transmitters.
The state-of-the-art Continental Model 418G-DRM transmitters can transmit programming in analog AM and are also capable of digital (DRM) modes.
